From April 15th 2026 Newcomer Service offers you a weekly session, where you will get tips to your job search in Denmark/Vejle and be introduced to the Danish job marked together with other job seekers.
Each time we will go over a subject that will be relevant for your future job situation - including inviting guest speakers to share their expertise.
The program vairies - find below the current overview of each session, update with speakers and times will follow:
April 15th: Introduction and cover letter and CV in Denmark (competence vs. chronological resume).
April 20th: LinkedIn in Denmark – the importance of an updated LinkedIn in your Danish job search. (Guest Speaker Nienke D. Nijenhuis from ND& Communications).
April 27th: How is your CV and cover letter seen with a recruiter’s eyes, what is important and “not so much” in a Danish context. (Guest Speakers Jens Thomsen (from the LEGO Group) and Sten Appelon Petersen (from True North Resources)).
Date will follow: Evaluation of “what we heard in the last two sessions”.
May 13th: Coming to Denmark – firsthand job search experience from a fellow expat. (Guest Speaker June Wee Grant).
May 20th: Rounding off, incl. networking in Denmark and your leisure time.
