Student assistants for Digitalization & IT

Do you want hands-on experience with digitalization, technology and service in a public organization? Digitalization & IT in Vejle Municipality is looking for student assistants for a student job of an average of 10 hours per week.
About the job
As a student assistant in Digitalization & IT, you will get a student job where you start with concrete and operational tasks and gradually have the opportunity to take on more advanced assignments as you build experience.
Among other things, you will help in the Print Center, prepare and set up PCs and IT equipment, and handle various ad hoc tasks. As you become familiar with our systems and workflows, you may take on more independent responsibility and contribute to technical tasks such as troubleshooting, setting up equipment and solutions, documentation, testing solutions and providing practical support across Digitalization & IT.
The position is a good match for you if you would like to build experience step by step while gaining practical insight into how digital work is organized in a larger public organization.
About us
Digitalization & IT is a cross-cutting department in the Economy and Labour Market Administration in Vejle Municipality. We help ensure stable digital solutions across the organization and support the development, implementation and responsible use of new technologies.
As a student assistant, you will become part of a workplace where technology is closely connected to workflows, collaboration and everyday public service. You will gain insight into how digital support and development take place in practice in a politically governed organization where both operational stability and continuous improvement are important.
We offer you
We offer a student job with relevant experience, close collaboration with colleagues across Digitalization & IT, and the opportunity to develop from practical operational tasks to more complex assignments.
You will gain insight into how digital development and IT support work in practice in a politically governed organization, while developing both your technical understanding and your knowledge of the Danish public sector. You will also become part of a professional environment where you can build experience that is relevant to both your studies and your future career.
Conditions of employment
